WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

We're a small, local, fast-casual wing shop located downtown Waco inside Union Hall. We offer Wings (Bone-In or Nugs), Tenders, Sandos, and Sides.

My name is Leo Spann. I'm from New Orleans, LA. I evacuated from Hurricane Katrina to Waco, TX in 2005.

The people of Waco helped our family so much when we lost everything. Within a week we had a place to stay that was fully furnished. I never left Texas. I ended up going to Dallas for work after culinary school. After 6 years of growing another restaurant company, I decided it was time to become an entrepreneur and create my own restaurant journey. I thought moving back to Waco made sense because this was the community that helped save my family's lives many years ago.

We wanted to create a company that would give back to the community and create jobs for aspiring entrepreneurs. We've been operating inside Union Hall for 3 years and have 2 restaurant concepts. King's Chicken Wings (named after my wife and I's first born son, King) was opened in January 2022. We wanted to create a simple menu with a strong culinary focus on scratch-made sauces and wing flavors. We focus on our core 4, which is Louisiana, Garlic Parm, Lemon Pepper and BBQ. Our top selling flavor is Louisiana which features our house-made seasoning blend we call poboy spice.

It's the same great seasoning blend we use on our seasoned fries which Waco has come to love! We are super excited to start working in the community to further grow our reach. We will be opening a second location this Fall 2023 inside Union Grove.
